Delivering Solutions that Matter:
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to improve residents’ mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
- Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, and mobility activities while ensuring safety and comfort.
- Monitor resident progress, document treatment outcomes, and communicate changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, fall prevention, and the safe use of assistive devices.
- Complete accurate documentation and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support quality resident care.
Qualifications for Success:
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Massachusetts Physical Therapist Assistant license
- Minimum 1-year experience, preferably in a long-term care setting
- Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written
