Resident at the Leonard Florence Center for Living Featured in Boston Globe by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist

Patrick O’Brien, a long-time resident at the Leonard Florence Center for Living in Chelsea, was featured in a Boston Globe profile by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and photographer Stan Grossfeld.

O’Brien, who has been a resident in the ALS & MS specialized homes for 14 years, is the recipient of the Audience Award at the Tribeca Film Festival for his highly acclaimed documentary “Transfatty Lives”.

During his interview, Patrick displayed his usual candor, warmth, optimism, and humor.

“We can all learn from Patrick. I know I did. He’s amazing,” said Grossfeld.
